Education

In May 1998, I graduated with honors from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History.  

In the summer of 1998, I attended a law school preparatory seminar at American University in Washington, D.C.  In the fall of 1998,  I enrolled in law school at the University of Dayton.  My coursework at U.D. School of Law consisted of:  Employment Law; Legal Rights of the Individual Employee; Discrimination in the Workplace; Contract Law; Criminal Law; Civil Trial Practice; and Family Law. 

During law school I received two C.A.L.I. Excellence for the Future Awards® in the fields of Civil Trial Practice and Law and Aging.  While enrolled at U.D., I was also employed by a local Dayton law office specializing in employment law. 

I graduated from U.D. School of Law in May 2001.   

I passed the July 2001 Ohio Bar Exam. 

Business

Born and raised in a small, rural community, I have a strong appreciation for honesty, respect, hard work and a love for the "underdog".  Representing hard-working, wrongfully terminated employees comes naturally and is something that highly motivates me.  

I first obtained experience with employment law while enrolled in law school at a local firm.  It was during this time I realized my true passion for employment law.  

I began my own practice in 2001. I started my own practice primarily to ensure my clients would get the one-on-one service and accountability that law firms often cannot provide.  For the last nine years, I have successfully represented hundreds of terminated workers.

Personal Background 

A resident of Owensville, Indiana for 21 years, I moved to Ohio in 1998 to attend law school.  I currently live in Centerville, Ohio with my wife and two sons.
